Meeting the Mayor of León

This morning we met with the mayor of León. Jessica introduced the program and three other students (Karina, Jonah and Lila) talked briefly about their experiences over the last 4.5 weeks (yes, you read that right, 4.5 weeks!). The mayor spoke a bit about León and we gave him a small gift for his time!!

Segovia and 1st stop in Madrid

We have been very busy this week with the final show, (which received outstanding reviews), final exams, etc. We left León this morning to many tears and headed to Segovia. After our morning and early afternoon in Segovia, we arrived in Madrid. Our first stop is/was the Reina Sofia art museum, which has Picasso’s famous GUERNICA among other works by Dalí and Mirò!!
