León 2023: Final Blog Post

This is the final blog post for IUHPFL León 2023. The final write up below is a great opportunity for students and parents to reflect on the positive aspects of the program. More of Madrid!

 Yesterday, we explored the city and visited major tourist sites such as, Museo del Prado, Plaza Mayor, Gran Vía, we saw Aladdin the Musical (in Spanish) and ate dinner at La Mordida (a famous Mexican restaurant in Madrid)! Today, we started our day at the Market and went to the Palace!!

Segovia and 1st stop in Madrid

We have been very busy this week with the final show, (which received outstanding reviews), final exams, etc. We left León this morning to many tears and headed to Segovia. After our morning and early afternoon in Segovia, we arrived in Madrid. Our first stop is/was the Reina Sofia art museum, which has Picasso’s famous GUERNICA among other works by Dalí and Mirò!!
