Excursion to Astorga and Castrillo de los Polvazares


Today we spent the day in Astorga (a small town about 45 min from León) and we visited the famous pueblo Castrillos de los Polvazares. In Astorga we visited the Palacio (designed and constructed by Antoni Gaudi), the Chocolate Museum and students had free time in the city and the option to go to the cathedral. In Castrillos de los Polvazares we walked the stone covered streets and took pictures of the beautiful scenery!!

Segovia and 1st stop in Madrid

We have been very busy this week with the final show, (which received outstanding reviews), final exams, etc. We left León this morning to many tears and headed to Segovia. After our morning and early afternoon in Segovia, we arrived in Madrid. Our first stop is/was the Reina Sofia art museum, which has Picasso’s famous GUERNICA among other works by Dalí and Mirò!!
